Poetry



New books of poetry are on the shelves. These include collections of love poetry, blues poetry, Hispanic poetry, and black poetry, as well as collections of individual poets such as Langston Hughes, Sylvia Plath, Walt Whitman, Dylan Thomas, and William Blake, among others. These can be found in the 800s section of the library.

New Books

1500 new books are now available to be checked out in the library. These books cover a wide range of subject areas in both fiction and nonfiction. The new fiction books can be found in the "New Books" section of the library, and the new nonfiction books are displayed on top of the shelves in the sections in which they will be placed. Come browse these books or search for your favorite subject in the online catalogue accessed through the link under the photo of the library.

Newspapers


The Houston Chronicle is now available in the library online. Hard copies will no longer be delivered to the school.

To access the paper, go to the links under the photo of the librarian and click on "Houston Chronicle." Scroll down and click on the link under the picture of the front page of the newspaper that reads "iBrowse The Houston Chronicle."

The newspaper cannot only be read from this link, but articles can be printed from it as well.

Ask the librarian for the user-name and password.
